    EDIT: anyways, seems the "2 window" trick is working. open one wow, login and wait for it to fail. then open another window and it will download and install.

    If you're using Windows Vista or 7, you need to run launcher as admin. Even if you did set it to auto start as admin, that gets reset when there's update that deleted old apps and created new one that does not have admin privilege by default.
