Connecting to wow

Ni hao everyone! i recently started bringing my Laptop to my school.. problem is that the school internet wont allow med to connect to wow! (oh dear!) when i log on it keeps on "Connecting" for quite a while and then (at last) it wont allow me to connect. what can i do to make my loooooong lessons go faster?

You have a few options.

Use a socks proxy like lowerpings.com. If you have a server out on the internet (you could rent one if not) you can install a vpn and run it on port 443.

Something like openvn. Since most firewalls dont block 443 (needed for ssl web traffic) you can almost always get through on it.

That's what I do when I want to connect from work!

does any one know of a proxy that works for ventrilo? i use wowtunnels for wow, but my ventrilo has 4k ping. fix plox
