Connecting to WoW at school etc

So my school is blocking out all the good stuff (MsN, X-fire, WoW and even bloody CS!) How shall I survive 8 fuggin' hours without those? :yuck:

So... I remember I saw a guide telling how I could fix that sometime ago. I can't find the post when searching, maybe because it's to old. So please, dear addicts. Help a fellow addict so he can save his... Just help :yuck:

Download your freedome of google, create a account at yourfreedom, installa it and then you installa freecap, set it up with the right proxy for freecap and then it's good to go.

I use LogMeIn.com to get on, all you do is install the program on your home computer, then when you're at school, go to logmein.com and just log into your account and you can view your home computer! The downside to this is that it really isn't bearable to play, so I just get on my bank alt, and I can run back and forth b/t the mailbox/AH to make money just fine. Also if you can't get on to the website because of a filter or blocker or whatever, just type in logmein, or log me in, in the address bar and it should work, or at least it does for me. Hope that helps!

I suggest using Logmein like I said earlier, but you're probably already at school so you can't access your home computer. My only other guess is buy a cheap external hard drive, just enough room for WoW and maybe some other games, and then just plug it in and go. I'm not sure how that will affect performance, but I've heard of people doing it.

@ The Maffyx I run off my external just fine with Firefox open along side WoW, no real difference in performance between running it off my internal vs external runs normal with a 3Ghz Intel Pentium D. and 1GB of ram

Yeah I'm stuck on connect even with both those programs running...

And I got WoW installed on the computer. It's got nothing to do with firewalls etc. It's my own PC. The wireless internet is blocking out all cool features. Can't even use facebook (Well... That's easy to fix but still!)
