I know I've been a leecher for a long time, but I just had a quick question:
I was reading the Dungeons and Raids Panel updates at WoW.com and saw that the panelists showed shots of a tool they called "WoWEdit" (see bottom for quote since I can't post links yet). It's the tool they use to edit stuff in WoW, like mobs for example. The way WoW.com described it makes it sound like it's very visually oriented (as opposed to the method used by emulated servers which uses lots of numbers and data in tables). For example, it says that the placement/path of the mob is plotted out with dots and lines, which seems a lot easier than using coordinates.
They showed the creature editing panel for the 3.2.2 Onyxia, which included ablities, health pool, damage range, loot, model, etc. Plus how often she Deep Breaths.
My question is, has anyone heard about WoWEdit outside of the Dungeons and Raids panel? This seems very interesting and if someone can discover where to get it or a similar program (most likely the latter), it would probably make private servers a lot easier to edit.
Sorry if this question's already been answered or if there's a similar program already out there; my leecher status prevents me from searching the forums.
