Some of you may be more experienced and understand the likeliness of things to happen, so help me with this. I sold my account to accounts.net for obviously a price that barely even covers the amount ive paid to play WoW over the last few months. They sold the account for $700. I made a new account to talk to the guy who bought the account just to talk to em. He ignored me like an *******. Now obviously I could just report him to blizzard and get my account deleted or....I could call blizzard up and get the account recovered. I just got a recovery done a little less than a month ago and found out that the ONLY information I needed (on the phone) was the answer to the secret question and my name. Both of which can't be changed.
So I wanna know if this would work...I recover my account. Make a new account with the same name and transfer to that server so my account will get a name change and he cant look up the information. Change all the information and have my account back.
Now I know for a fact this would work...the only interference in the process ITSELF would be the possibilities of blizzard knowing that i recently just recovered my account and them denying it. So my first question is does anyone know if Phone support notices that type of thing?
The second question is, what are the possible legal reprecussions? Obviously it's against the rules of blizzard to sell accounts, so accounts.net can't really have anything to say. This kid bought the account so he can't really have anything to say. Am I missing a possibility here? Worst case scenario I'd assume either A - he tries to take the account back (he has the information i have) or B - he reports me and blizzard deletes the account (hence why im transferring servers and changing names)
I should also include that the paypal accounts.net sent the money to wasn't my actual account. I accidentally typed in the wrong email (but luckily i have both email accounts so i just sent it from that email to my actual paypal) and I TOLD them not to send it there but obviously they're too ignorant to read.
