Bnet Merger Question

Ok so i have my normal wow account that has been merged with bnet. Now let's say i purchase a different account that is not merged. Upon the merger i'll change the last name of the bought account to the last name of my legit account. Will i be able to transfer the characters from the bought account to my legit account without getting it banned ( i mean my legit one .. don't care about the other )? Thanks in advance for the answers.

The thing here is changing the last name on the account. While i'm not exactly sure of everyone's methods, the things that I have tried have failed.

If you are able to successfully change the last name, then two accounts merged in the same BNET account will be able to transfer. I would post the exact info from their character transfer FAQ but it seems to be down right now.

Shouldn't be a problem to change the last name to the bought account. And i don't entend to merge them into the same Bnet account. Separate, then transfer.

There is a 30 day period of waiting once an account is merged into a BNET login before a transfer can take place outside of that BNET account.

Yes i'm aware of that .. and i don't mind waiting .. it's just that i think it's safer that way. Anymore opinions on the ban issue tho?

You wont get banned but i dont think you can transfer toons

Oh ? How come ? The accounts will have the same last name etc..
