[Theory] Make WSG Easier..

Everyone knows about model editting right? Well I just thought of something that might actually work really well..

How about editting the WSG flags to giant beams of light going into the sky(You know what I mean)? That way, you could find people with the flag MUCH MUCH easier..

What do you guys think? Is it do-able? It could be a really helpful..

Why not just making the flag a giant tree or other creature... lol.

You could also just make it so huge that you could click it from anywhere on the map. Or so I have read. But as Ground Zero said, that would get you banned pretty quick.

How would it get you banned? Model Editting is only seen by you... All farmers make herbs/mining nodes soemthing that is visible from afar... and dont get banned, I asked a GM and he said I can edit character models.. Its purely clientside

According to Blizzard you're not allowed to do anything involved in editing the clients files (that includes model editing). So either the GM you asked is retarded or he misunderstood your question.

Gm's vary. They cannot be relied upon as having a general concensus.

This is very much exploiting and as such very bannable. And if you kept capping/turning in every 10 seconds everyone would know you are hacking.

And as DarkXma said Blizzard can ban you for anything. Model Editing they will generally leave you alone unless you are using for exploiting. Certain model edits are actively monitored. (There is a list somewhere)

If you read the ToS it states that you're not allowed to edit the game files. So yes, it is bannable and if you do something like this, you probably will get banned.

Well.. Everyone seems to use model editing to get rare mounts (DeathCharger etc) and they never get banned.. So hmm.. I'm not sure
