Weird Error

Hey MMOwned,

I got this weird bug, everytime i open WoW.
I double click the icon, and get the error:


Anyone got a suggestion?

Try re-installing or running "Repair.exe" ?

I have done both, no effect at all..
First i ran repair.exe, then i reinstalled. Then i ran repair.exe again, no effect..

Nothing at Blizzards Tech Support.. They dont even now anything about 'critical error 192'...

(First of all, sorry for my really bad englisch)

Try to start WoW with Admin privileges (right click the shortcut and Run as Administrator).
If this doesn't help, rename the WoW.exe to anything you want, mmowned.exe for example ;-) After this, try to start WoW again. The only disadvantage is, that the launcher will no longer work.

yeah if you run vista try to run it as admin

Try renaming wow.exe to something else (ie warcraft.exe) and run if from your program files folder.

Or trying deleting your addons folder/defragging your harddrive. :<

I will try that renaming wow.exe, but i cant atm, since im at boarding school /;

No i dont use any kind of model edits or hacks, so i have no idea, what it could be ;S

To be honest, I think someone put a kind of virus on your PC wich just replaces the old wow.exe so you counld not login anymore.

**EDIT**

If you really wanna play WoW again, then you should reinstall your pc and I can gaurantee it works.

have checked for virus, with bullguard and mcafee, and nothing found..
Not nearly addicted enough to reinstall my pc..
