Two questions...

1. Is there any way to get someone on the opposite faction to gain exp? Force them to gain exp...

2. is there anyway i can make a seperat wow client to start up an older patch... like 1.2x for a private server, while i have my regular client running the regular patch.

As for #2, you'll need to reinstall WoW to a seperate folder and search the internet for all the patch DLs up to the one you want, then run it (I'm assuming on a private server)

As for #1, pretty sure thats a no unless they have a mob tagged that they arent killing.
