botting in wow

With the current glider case and seemingly clamping down on blizz of all the fun parts of the game such as private servers etc, just wondering what peoples thoughts are on the future of botting;

Will glider continue to be the number one for botting?
Will other bots such as Zolo take is place?
Will people loose interest in wow and go elsewhere?
Has botting became too risky?

why do you say that? i would think it would be getting shut down now. i dont know much about the case because i've lost interest in it over time but i'd start gliding again if its gonna be still available.



Also where can you get people that will make private bots for you? like rentacoder?

i quit bottin a few months bak when bc got too boring, now that wotlk has came around and uldar is soon im looking to bot a few chars to 80, (i used the lavasoft and glider bots in past) im also interested in botting alternatives if any1 has any suggestions.

People are already losing interest in WoW at an extremely fast rate. EU servers are pretty much all dead. US servers are getting less and less populated everyday.

Most of these people will not go elsewhere, they just won't play MMOs anymore. Most of the people who play WoW aren't actually gamers, but rather just addicted to WoW and WoW only. Many, including my wife, WoW is the first actual game they have played for any length of time.

This rapid depopulation could be overturned if Blizz fixed WoTLK and made it better, but as it stands.... WoTLK did really nothing but hurt the game. Added 10 lvls, a new overpowered class, and a profession for that new class. Woopidity Do Da. Def worth my $50 (actually alot more than that cause I several bots)

If MDY actually does lose, then the hardcore botters like myself will just go to another bot. I already have about 4 I'm watching and have been playing around with, just incase MDY does lose. Nothing even comes close to Glider, and it's not the program itself that makes it so great it's what the community has put into it that makes it great. If MDY does win, then I will def be working on several projects myself, including a better Remote, a CC, and some other things.

Botting isn't too risky tho, Blizz is just as dumb to bots as they ever were. Granted, Warden has gotten more powerful, but so have the protection measures on most bots. Right now, the only way for most of them to get detected is from player reports.

And yes, I do realize that the majority of the people who read this forum don't have the attention span of a mouse and won't even take a glance at this post becuase of all the text. But, I really couldn't care less.

hey, good post. do you mind sayin what bots your watching? I have mimic now but would like something better if there is something.
