How safe is using a glider?

Hi I have seen many threads about gliders and botting and was wondering how "safe" it really is. I hate farming on my druid because it is boring if i setup a glider and ran it for a night with my druid farming herbs in Stormpeaks and Sholazaar think i would get banned?

Using glider is risky, if u just want to farm herbs than just download some pathways for it.

I have heard of glider being really risky to run over night. Alot of people I know run it while they are around the house and checking every few minutes. Because if a GM sees you running around aimlessly and whispers you and you dont respond then Im sure he will assume you are botting. But if you are there at your computer then you can reply and not make it look so suspicious. Just be very careful and dont run it during the banwaves.
