3rd party skins illegal?

Theres a helluva lot of cool skins here but before i install them i would like to know if i would get banned. Is one of those rules that no one really enforces or what?

every change of the game data is bannable, so use at your own risk

It's been said that if you change something that doesn't break the rules of the game (making stairs leading from stormwind to outlands or w/e), they won't ban you. Although any manipulation to the game data is a bannable offense, you just have to make sure you don't page a gm and say --"I need help changing my models back."

Model Editing normally isn't a reason to ban if you don't use it for exploiting the game.
