Resillience useless in pve.

OK obviously it's "not". Now I've never played a tank and i understand why dps, healers don't use it because oyu give up dps and healing. A tank why wouldn't they use it i mean I'd rather be crit 5k then 10k...Don't go harsh on me I've never tanked no idea what I'm talking about.

its not usefull at all, except for druid tanks, which is only usefull to a certain degree (early stages of druid tanking gear) before its better to get stam/agi/dodge etc. etc. etc.

its slightly good but any other 'normal' or 'decent' stats kick the crap out of it.

resillience is horrible for pve but like gog said for druids in kara starting just to tank. as long as your uncrittable with it your fine. as a warrior don't use it. As for the dps they use it because they don't got good PvE gear

This is it. Res was handy when my druid was start tanking heroics/kara. After some upgrade improvements its useless.

You are critimmune when you have reached the defense cap for your class. Something that is reached pretty quickly. Thus the resilience wont do anything for tanks that have blue gear and better.

Some of the S4 parts are still good for a BT/moving into Sunwell druid. (Eyes on the helmet)
Resilience is only used by druids to make them crit immune

Only problem is you're uncrittable, so that crit of 5k will never even happen :P

As everyone has said you're already uncrittable in most cases and so there's no benefit from Resilience. In PVE there are several uses for resilience for warriors, paladins and feral tanking though. For ferals you will not be crit capped in Sunwell gear so wearing a piece of Brutal for the extra resil should be enough to keep you with 5.6% crit reduction.

For Paladins and Warriors (ferals as well) it's the easiest way to stay crit immune when you have to be a Fire/Frost/Nature resist tank though, and it's really underrated in that aspect. I was a prot warrior in SSC/TK and fury (but FR tank on Illidan) in BT, and in my Frost Resistance Set for Hydross I'd wear my PVP boots and sometimes my Glad shoulders, and on Illidan enchanted my FR chest with +15resil and wore my previous season's helm (with a +12def meta and +20FR enchant). Resil's only real use is maintaining crit immunity, apart from that it's a worthless stat, and it doesn't compare to defense for Paladins and Warriors because we gain parry/block/dodge from that stat as well.
