I don't think Blizzard would take the trouble to hack peoples accounts for here..

1. they have their company to run.
2. if they want an account here.. they can just make one.
3. I don't believe they would hack for something like an account....

Not true. Brute Forcing is hacking.

Brute Force will just try every possible password until it gets it.

Not to say this was a Brute Force attack But it would still try and do the same thing (fail to login numerous times)
