need help with items and professions

hey guys
i just started an undead mage at twillight's hammer.i'm going to twink him at lvl 29 and i ws wondering if any1 could help me on what items and what professions i should take...i tried finding items in thottbot but i got cconfused :S thanx a lot

thanx for the replys guys gilthoniel ,i used google ( 0o ) but i still need help...i wanna do dmg but i don't wanna be dead after a backstab from a rogue and an eviscarate.. :P i can't decide if i should go for stamina/intellect items or frost/fire dmg.....and abt dmg , i was also wondering if i should get me some +frost/fire items or items that are +spell damage ,generally....thanx (i can't use the google for this one :P)
