You are 100% correct. I trust this guy for a couple of reasons. It is very possible to have multiple friends to work at Blizzard. Blizzard is based in 2 locations (in US) Austin, Texas and Irvine, California. My cousin works as a IGSR (in game serivce rep). So the amount of people that work for Blizzard is concentrated in these two areas. Blizzard employs alot of people. So it is very possible. And so is people wanting to sell them to him. Think about it. They spend all day helping people in WoW or creating/programming WoW. Do alot of them want to come home and play WoW when they had just spent all day on WoW? I wouldn't but thats just me.

And what has he to gain. If you lose you account to this guy, then you deserved it. But people who did get a Phase 2 Email, you see that the intrustions are going to be sent in an email and he is not going to use any type of attachments.

Hmmm, just reading through seeing some contrasting statements of what people are saying. People are just over complicating things. At the end of the day it takes 2seconds to write what he asked and may be 5 to send an email.

At the end of the day if he sends something back saying "can I please have your credit card number to confirm your identity" then I just delete the email. If he sends me a key then I'm happy and go the next year without going outside.

Anyways probably a week or so after you guys sent in your emails he'll put your address into a mass mailer and send you all some phisher trying to gank your account information. There aren't any alpha keys... theres no magical "click this button, enter your alpha key and enjoy wotlk!". Your friend of family member who works at blizzard enters your name into a database and then your eligible to download wotlk alpha... its not done through keys because the leaks that would happen wouldn't be worth it. Have you even looked at the WotLK Alpha site? It IS done through keys, and there is a magical button where you press it and you get into the alpha, so long as you have a key. Try to be informed next time, okay?

It certainly could be a scam of some sort, but a lot of your points are wrong. There certainly are alpha keys (go to beta.worldofwarcraft.com/expansion) and you say it was "copy and pasted" on various sites when really it was just Youtube as far as I can tell, the other sites just pull videos from Youtube.
