Should Blizzard sell gold?

I don't think Blizz should sell gold, maybe unique cosmetic items that don't affect stats such as mounts, tabards, hell even titles. Even with these salable items people will still be able to see through them and truly see that skill is still a factor.

No way.. That could possibly be the biggest mistake Blizzard can make.. It isnt easy to keep 10M+ people happy but to start selling gold would anger a very big portion of that number and they could possibly leave for newer games.

lol Blizzard should not sell gold.

1) The spammers will not go away even if Blizzard sold gold, I'm sure farmers would either find another source of income in the game to pester you with IE instead of those wonderful "gold buy sale good" would turn into "Gold buy sale cheaper Blizzard" or "Powerlevel buy now!"

2) I think I saw someone mention this but rich kids are going to be sitting on a never ending supply of gold making it almost like two sides in wow, the kids who bought everything possible in the game and the ones who have to grind their way to things... Works the same as life.

3) Would ruin the game. I love the idea of gold at your disposal for a small price but at the same time WoW would never be the same with legalized gold selling. People would have 375 trade skills, Epic mounts, and etc. never working for them. The WoW economy would turn to crap, you'd have ah prices out of the roof. Why sell a battle elixir for 45g when you can buy 'em all out with gold you just bought and repost them for 450g and let the rich kids buy them at that price.
