Extra help protection for your acccount from a keylogger

Hi all, didn't know where to put this as its neither an; exploit, scam. i thought perhaps exploration if so please can a mod move this.

Some of you are going to say this is common sense but i'm sure there are many out there that haven't thought of this despite it(this isn't some anti keylogger, keep computer safe guide its just 1 or two pointers regarding your acc):

• Keep "remember account name" ticked at all times, this way if a keylogger is on your computer they just get your password, a password without an acc name is useless
• Secondly, if for whatever reason you need to type your acc name and password, e.g. a friends using your computer. what you need to do is type there username, e.g. say its "ilikerobots121" type "ilikerobots1214kforlife" then highlight "ilikerobots1214kforlife" so everything thats not your username and the last character of your actual username, then retype this last character of your real username you just highlighted. this will then replace the highlighted characters with a "1" in this case, making the username correct but on the keyloggers screen it would be "ilikerobots1214kforlife1". so they aren't sure your actual username within that.
  

the last step can be repeated for your password aswell, now im sure some of you will say just copy paste your password; no this doesnt work keyloggers can track this.

hope this helps someone keep it a bit safer, but most off get a good virus software, Zone Alarm is handy, Anti keylogger shield, a spy sweeping program and that should protect you from most. also get firefox and an addon called Noscript. now as with anything its not 100% safe, but if you do all this you're minimizing the risk of being keylogged.

This is some great advice, actually.

And technically, it is physically impossible to get a keylogger with NoScript unless you allow that site.

And, if for whatever reason, you think the site is legit, and then allow it, you could then get a keylogger. But for the most part, NoScript is incredibly helpful.

Type dog then hit your left arrow on the keyboard to the beginning and type hot then go to the end and hit 2.

hmm nice way but surely if you press the left arrow on your keyboard that counts as a keystroke so it will get registered aswell.
so it would come up as dog*left arrow**left arrow**left arrow*hot*right arrow**right arrow**right arrow**right arrow**right arrow**right arrow*

i could be totally out there, but just an idea to clear it up before anyone uses it as a method
