Also, if I'm not mistaken, they can't exactly sue Michael Donnelly: the corporation is titled "MDY Industries, LLC". LLC means "Limited Liability Company". It means that individual members of the company cannot be sued; the entire corporation must be sued as a whole.

It's hard to say who will win. Copyright laws are very difficult to understand and complicated. We'll just have to wait for the judgment.

And technically, donnelly cant lose. His bot, has no contact with hacking the World of Warcraft game, the bot just will work with the action bars that World of Warcraft set.


They can take off the SHIFT+5 to get to the fifth action bar, and SHIFT+6 to get to the sixth action bar, and stop glider altogether...

um GMKyle ... glider is editable on the which rows to use. when i had mine it was setup on shift 1 and shift 2 ... people can edit the keys file coding. get elite and search it on their forums. it is all right there.


also. if blizzard does win. i would think that they would shut down all gliders before blizzard got their hands on them. they have a little switch... they get paranoid that blizzard is ban happy , bam off it goes. 50,000 or whatever users suddenly log off.

what i want to see is how a lawsuit against innerspace and openbot would play out... sql injection. hmm.

Actually, Mercury sued them, and they counter-sued. Exploratory just ended which is probably what set off the news.

As per InnerSpace versus WoW, InnerSpace doesn't hack WoW. It's ISXWarden and ISXWoW which do that. And those are not sold as part of the InnerSpace package.

i doubt blizz will go ban happy...they will probably just make a "fix" of some sort that stops the program...eh if blizz wants to stop gold sellers and plers...they should just offer that service from there site. Free MMOs are jumping on that bandwagon...im actually surprised blizz hasnt done that yet...like for an extra 5bucks or somethin boom lvl 70 char with no gear or somethin...would shut alot of people down and it would be "legit" /shrug doesnt really effect me the game is so freakin easy now anyways heh. im lookin to bank high on all my 70s once im ready to leave when the next big mmo comes out xD

In the end, I fail to see how Glider violates any of Blizzard's copyrights
