We recently received a report from another player that their account had been compromised. During the course of our investigation, we discovered that one of your characters had received goods from this player. Unfortunately, we have removed those goods to reimburse the owner.
Our current policies regarding compromised accounts apply to both players who access an account they do not own, and players who knowingly or unknowingly receive gold or items from a compromised account. If a player is found to have participated in one of these acts, he or she may have the transferred goods removed from their account and may receive an account penalty up to and including account closure if the registered user of the account perpetrated the compromise.
