    Well it's actually scientifically proven humans try to find faces in seemingly random orientations of objects (in this case the rocks in a wall).. Which could be part of the reason we see the face.. but Unlike most cases.. this does actually look to be intentional. The symmetry of the two halves of the face is uncanny, and It looks like either an elderly orc, or a fat troll with a big nose (almost looks like tusks at bottom).
