Wallclimbing - The Kezan Project [Open challenge]

Hey guys,

Jaburius from Keepers of the Secrets talking.

When Cataclysm was released there were many explorers and wallclimbers who saw it as their duty to climb mount Kezan. Actually nobody did so, at least I can't believe such statements since four of our most experienced wallclimbers worked on it for weeks without success. However, recently we found a - theoretically - working path to get up. We are going to publish our proceedings soon and start a "open challange" for all those who are motivated to reach something that was considered to be impossible. Furthermore I would like to hear about your experiences with mount Kezan. We are still searching for patient wallclimbers, no matter if experienced or not. I'm down, I have a path aswell, but it requires alot of rocket jumps, and the vehicle...But I always get stuck, i'd love to see your path.

I am so curious to see what is up inside the volcano. I thought it was easy so i made a goblin and went there and after an hour i was like... aw **** this lol. It is really hard but who knows what could be inside!

haha I just tried this myself last week! Had no idea other people were so intrigued to see what is inside the volcano as well!
EDIT: I have found a few paths go get around 3/4ths of the way up.. that last 1/4th is like sher giant rocks that you can't get past!

Ive gone and looked onto the other side of the Volcano, only took a quick peek but its pretty cool. Not a whole lot to see but climbing it would still be a feat.

When you do post a video, Im definitely down for the challenge of getting up there with the use of only in game mechanics, as that is always great fun and makes you feel great when u accomplish it , which is why I explore all the time!

I would be glad if someone decides to take some footage of his ideas or successes and post it on youtube. I'm looking forward to seeing some results of this unique project (-:

I have been trying but I always get wall dc's on the Kezan mountain, but usually no where else when I'm wall jumping :\

Update: Yesterday we had huge success on our Kezan path. We got up to Camp 1 and to Camp 2 aswell. A video has already been uploaded, unfortunately I wasn't able to record the whole climb. That would have killed my harddisk... However, the last jump has not been done yet!

I cannot believe how fast this is coming along now that you have put the challenge out there. You are the best wallclimbers out there! I am certain you will reach your goal so very soon. Congrats on Camp 1 and Camp 2. Amazing accomplishment!

Looks so intense, already tried this with jab and the others before they released this idea to the public and it's such a hard mountain, I'm sure you will reach the top. Good job on camp 1 & 2

Alright, I've made it all the way up...except for the last jump, I'm clueless there I've tried everything.. any suggestions?
