So Hello guys !

I'm going to show you a little trick for Battleground Explorations.

What you need ? This little D/C Macro :
/script PickupItem(22736)
/script PlaceAction(1)

Ok so now the trick : When the battleground is going to finish ( 2-3 sec. before ) ...
Just use this D/C Macro ... and log back in. ( use to be in ghost Form - Didn't try to be alive )

What happened now ? You are still in the battleground and can move ( Only for 2 minutes ye ... this suck )

BUT THE AMAZING thing is :
that you can "Climb" Mountains with easily, like the time when the Priests use Levitate some years ago ...

I have been looking for this exploit for quite some time. VotU-US or RAoV came out with this a while back here on OwnedCore, but of course I can't seem to find the thread now.... theirs was VERY similar, only it involved clicking "leave battleground" along with the DC. It even had this "climb mountains easily" bug you are talking about... better than Levitate, you can literally just walk up nearly vertical mountains. Dying was involved also... I've recently been doing all sorts of variations of DCing as I 'leave battleground', trying to get this to work like it used to. I really wish I could find the old thread/video... Omo, Snyth, are you out there!??

I'm fairly certain that there is a way to get around the 2-minute timer at the end... perhaps finding that 'old method' and combining it with what you've posted here will help us. THANK YOU AGAIN FOR THIS. Huge for me. I've been wanting to do more BG explorations, and this will help immensely.

@WizardTrokair RAoV did release this exploit back in Wrath of the Lich King but RAoV's youtube channel got hacked and the hacker deleted all the old videos(Youtube never recovered them after several emails) so I can't go back in look at old threads because the youtube video's wouldn't work so we have no "proof". Only little proof I have is in this video look at 2:14 that is Omo doing the exploit jumping/walking up walls in AB.

^^^ Thanks Snyth, I knew I had seen it before. I was not looking for proof though (I knew you guys did it first)... I'm looking for details on RAoV's specific method, and how it differs from the method posted above by Tequilaz. I was looking for the old thread hoping for a video... but perhaps it also explained the method in text?

RAoV's method involved DCing as you clicked 'leave battleground', IIRC. The result was that you would come back to the battleground, but would not have the BG symbol on your mini-map, and I think you even came back to the BG with the Deserter buff WHILE you were still in the BG(!). Dying was somehow also involved, I think.

I would still like any and all details that you can remember about the RAoV version. The difference I see is that in Tequilaz method you are not actually leaving the BG, and when the 2-minute timer is up you will get kicked out automatically. I'm sure there is more I am forgetting. I find this exploit extremely interesting for my explorations and need to know as much as I can gather. Got any more memories on this, Snyth?

This was RAoV's method
1.You would leave battleground and DC and get the deserter debuff but still remain in the BG
2.Then you would die then run away from the spirit healer then DC when the BG ended
3.Then when you logged back on with full control of your character and have your own BG to play around in .
Not sure if it still works the same way.

Hi, awesome find, just woundering - does this still work(22/04/2012) and if so, do you need to be dead when you dc or does it have no effect? thanks

Nvm seems like you must be dead, anyway, have you had any luck figuring out how to extend this 2min timer? that would be pro.
