MoP Hint In-Game

I was doing quests in Feralas and this caught my eye.


I can only assume this was in the game at Cataclysm's launch, but it just seems too obvious. It's in plain sight!

Did a quick search to see if this was posted, didn't see anything. Sorry if it was already.

Just because it isn't there now doesn't mean they can't write it into the lore.

That is not Pandaria, it is the Northpole.
There is also a Southpole.

Yep it really looks like the turtle island !

I remember looking at this orb to see if there was anything fishy and don't remember seeing that. Are you sure the model hasn't been updated since cata launch ?

I was linking something, I didn't write "There is nothing on the other side of azeroth", that was the title of the page i was linking lol

It's definitely a turtle, and was surely intended to relate to MoP.

Hummm, this globe is in gamefiles since ulduar.
But i may be wrong

^^^ Vandara, this makes it all that much cooler, IMO! That is definitely the same shape as the Pandaria turtle island starting zone, which means they definitely have been planning this since Ulduar.

Just double checked on my local 3.3.5 to see if the model has been updated since ulduar, and it's not, the turtle was here back then
