[New] Unlisted Rarespawn.

I hope this is the right place xD since we stumbled upon this guy by chance. His name is Prince Lakma, The last Chimaerok! There is currently NO info on this guy (at least none that me and my friends could find.) I took a bunch of fancy pics to help explain where he is and what he does. Even what he drops!

- This is about where he spawns. It's on the border of Silithus and Feralas, tucked away in what looks to be an unfinished area.

There is a small path in the hills where he floats around back and forth. Very small area, he does not go far.

Here he is in all his glory! Level 87 Rare with 20 stacks of lightning shield which lasts for about 20 mins. When it wears off, there will be a good 5 seconds of him WITHOUT the shield before he resummons it.
He can be stunned and interrupted during his casting of lightning bolt. He most likely can be frozen too, but there was no hunter to test this. Alone, he knocked out my friend pretty quick, but we didn't have any trouble fighting him together.
At about 50% he will go into a frenzy which makes him hit faster, not harder. So it's really no big deal.

I'm thinking that Blizz is throwing stuff out to test after the latest patch, which is why he was derping around up there. I'd keep an eye open for him incase his loot is changed at some point.

EDIT: It seems that meat that dropped is ONLY from that guy, retired from pre BC. Could sell for a lot

It's used for this Recipe: Dirge's Kickin' Chimaerok Chops - Item - World of Warcraft the only epic cooking recipe! I bought one for 100g on the ah and resold it for 50k

Yeah, the recipe is available on Lightninghoof Alliance side right now. Good to know there is a way to cook it again.

And OH GOD I'M SO BAD. After seeing it, i searched for the recipe in my bank. I don't have it anymore. I did the quest, i still have 19 chimaerok chops, but i haven't got the recipe anymore. I'm so sad I usually keep everything and i lost this ... :'(

This mob is actually pretty easy to kill with a mage.

Grab a friend who can tank, Paladin or Druid preferred.

Find this mob and then attack. As a mage go through your usual DPS rotation, but spellsteal his Lightning Shield when it pops up. He hits like a toddler without his lightning shield. Make sure to keep it down. If you have a tank who fails at self-healing pull aggro from your tank friend and have him hit you a couple of times while you have his lightning shield.

Very easy, really. I hope I helped a bit in any sort of trouble.

When he is down enjoy your Tenderloins!

Killed it easily with 4 people, was an overkill really. Dropped 17 meat and 1 grey battered scale. Looks like he roams down the path also. Was pretty nifty. WTB more stuff like this ^-^

This mod was added to the game after the removal of the AQ opening chain in order to facilitate people with the epic recipe with continuing to create Dirge's Kickin' Chimaerok Chops, which required Chimaerok tenderloins that dropped from the old "boss" Chimaerok of the chain on the same island. That should clear up any mysteries surrounding this mob.
