The Random Expeditions: Zul'Aman - Behind Closed Doors...and a Pond

Hey guys, Strangletusk here with the fourth episode is this new sorta-series of mine, The Random Expeditions - explorations in the game world that don't really all belong to a set theme, but are cool nonetheless

For this fourth, and quite long, episode of The Random Expeditions, I decided to take a look at the whole uninstanced Zul'Aman sitting behind the actual Zul'Aman in the Ghostlands. During my travels there I found ways to get behind the real ZA portal, into the locked copy of the penultimate boss room (in uninstanced ZA), and also into...a locked ornamental pond - possibly the weirdest thing that Blizz went out of their way to stop people accessing. All of these explorations are in the video, with my usual rainbow coloured explanations for TRE.

I have already seen video about unintanced za and flying mount bug, but first time i see somebody go under the map and the second portal. Nice job as always, + rep when I can =)

Aye, I just thought of combining the two when I found that convenient gap in the world - worked out quite nicely overall. 'Cos I knew there were quite a few videos of the actual uninstanced ZA area, so decided to put my own little twist on it with accessing the 'locked' rooms

...but the second half of the video, showing the boss room and ornamental pond are completely new. I do especially like that floating pond structure... a great find there!

Please keep these wonderful series videos coming! I love your playful style and great explanations.

Funnily enough Trokair, it was actually your thread that sparked this entire video! I was looking for ways to get behind the ZA portal for my upcoming Beyond the Portals Expedition...and well it wasn't going very well. Toyed with complicated things involving multiple rocket boot jumps into water under the world, etc etc THEN I remembered your video and was like Doh!

After that it all pretty much fell into place. Was flying around the uninstanced ZA area and found the gap in the ceiling, so I had a way under the world, then found and recorded all the explorations in around half an hour :P

So yeah, I do remember your thread and I thank you for it! Without it, this video wouldn't have happened, at least not after a long time, and would probably have resulted in a very grumpy and frustrated Strangletusk

PS. Good point about the hybrid mounts, I'll add that to my Youtube video description.
