Secondworld 4.0.6

I just tried this ~5min ago...got under the world with no prob, fell to my death, and tried DC macro only to have it not work and an error msg came up on my screen in-game saying "You do not have permission to perform that function." I tried the 'waiting to release' method as in Arrrdolf's vid of using secondworld to get to GM island...and still no luck.
Can anyone confirm if the macro has been hotfixed?

EDIT: I was able to rez at the GY and my body was ported beneath me...where as if I didn't hit the macro and just released I would have to spirit rez, so I know that the macro is registering, it's just not DC-ing me

Confirmed. This (and most of the publicly known D/C macros) were recently hotfixed.

These glitches still work, however, just replace D/C macros with some other form of disconnect (such as physically pulling your LAN cord) and you can get the same results with some timing.

Yes, alt+f4 works the same way.

Wow, I had heard Secondworld was still working a few patches before Cata, but it's even alive and well as of 4.0.6? That's quite remarkable, but is it 100% that Secondworld doesn't work on the recent patch? And what of Otherworld? Anyone know if that's still even working?

Sorry for being so blind to everything; I've been away from WoW, so I don't know what's new these days.

It's working for me on the current patch. I used alt-f4 instead of DC macro.

Secondworld still works in this method (with your own D/C, obviously) as of today. I haven't tried Otherworld recently, but I'd imagine that works just fine as well.
