I have done a video of the 'Secondworld' exploit for my YouTube channel.

In my video, I use a current patch 4.0.6 disconnect macro. I also avoid the whole "swimming down until the kill zone"... I just fall to my death.

((This glitch is client-side. You can explore places with this glitch (like Tanaris Underwater Mine, or even GM Island, if you're creative), and you can even stay live in chat channels while you explore... but you are really not "there" as far as live server exploration is concerned.))

Dude, you can breath under water in otherworld, you can toucch water in otherworld u just need to do a little work before u can... it's kinda easy just use ya brain..

This thread is for Secondworld... a place where you can breathe underwater... and you need to touch the water in order to mount. What are you on about? Who were you telling to use their brain?

Cruven, I would love some more information on this.

I always try to credit the proper "founding explorers" when I do a video of an exploration that was not originally discovered by myself. I was under the impression that OotHE discovered Otherworld and VotU discovered Secondworld. I will gladly change my thread and the details on the video to reflect reality, if you can point me toward the proper information.

...but does anyone know how to make those "pop up" corrections that I see on videos? I'm not sure I have all the source material available to re-post the video up, so to correct that part would have to be one of those popup things.

Yes. U go into edit video and add in captions. U can make boxes anywhere in the video and over text.

I had this exact thing happen to me but on accident. It was right before Cata was released, when everyone was doing the thing where you can fly around Kalimdor with the ghost gryphon from Hyjal. I don't know how it happened, but after dismounting the gryphon one time, everything was gone and the world was like you showed in the video.
I had to join a battle ground to get back to the normal world.

Apparantly ive been under the false impression that otherworld and secondworld were the same thing. whats the difference? if theres a good thread here about them i'd appreciate a link greatly.

Secondworld involves being connected (still in trade chats) but disconnected (no fatigue, fall damage, underwater breathing, etc).

Otherworld is a different sort of thing, and can be used for other forms of exploration (like getting past walls or mountains). In Otherworld, mobs fall from the sky.

I haven't mentioned it, but I just wanted to say how useful this new way of entering the second world really is. I started doing the second world as soon as it came out, and while it was fun to do, waiting 6 mins (after running off the edge of the world in Durotar) was an annoyingly long time. By finding this exploit (only useful for exploration), The Wizard Trokair has made the Second World accessible anywhere and it takes no more than a minute. Just wanted to say thanks.

But I'm going to have to ask this here, what's the new DC macro. As of tonight "/console SetCurrency 1 Infinity" and all variations of the SetCurrency macro seem to have been patched. Anyone know a new one (should start a new thread if you do, should get quite a lot of rep =P).

But for now, I guess I'm stuck with just the guild bank to do my explorations :*(
