You can't run past the blue walls, you can only fall through them.

Yes during wotlk, you could only fall through blue walls (this was the only way to access the gm island)

I know it. During WotLK, but not now This has been fixed in patch 4.0.1, if I'm not mistaken.

it has, i was not able to get past the blue walls, but they are pretty . Its fun to explore the zone as such a low lvl, i went from 1-4 before doing any quests and could have gotten to a higher lvl im sure. The entire zone isnt much, though the night elf harbor town is glitched like crazy lol. swim under the continent and what not.

I'm going through the instanced hillsbrad, and I've found a place, where you are really in the zone Hillsbrad, with channel and all of this.
It's the cave "Darrow hill". I think it's possible to go out there as a level 1 Worgen. Maybe you can get ported out with a warlock (Because you are not in Gilneas, there!) or you can get assisted by a GM.. Like Wowgamerxx119 did in the eastern Plaguelands with a DK.

If it works.. Maybe you can play a worgen, that will not transform ever! Little bit strange, but.. funny.

lol, i doubt that would work, but who knows. Did you make it to any of the "divides" big white line through the map and minimap? i came across several, they are a pain, cuz it takes forever to walk around them. theres alot to still be explored in Gilneas before the cataclysm. possible ways out or just random stuff. I have an image im going to have to post. its funny as hell. big pile of dung that even has stink lines, and a midget skeleton with a huge grin. lmao. this is in Koroths den btw, idk if its in any other phases.

Yet there Silverpine Forest and Unknown zone But you can not get out of Gilneas, until you do all quest chains.
I tried to use unstuck in this zones and died there, but my spirit remained near the body, and in the chat shows "You can't leave the area until the fate of Gilneas is not defined yet." or something like that.

Edit: I forgot. Also, my friend and I tried to use the RAF summon. The result was the same

Sadly, but not working. Received a standard reply, something like "Your character has been successfully ported, blah blah blah ...", but the character moved to the starting location, near the first quest giver

has anyone tried getting out just after cata hits? i can understand why it wouldnt let you out before hand, it doesnt exist. but after you get past the sundering then perhaps you could get out of the gilneas area earlier.

I think it is impossible to get out of Gilneas, until you have completed all the quests. I tried:
1. Dying in an "Unknown" zone.
2. Dying in the instanced Silverpine Forest & Hllsbrad
3. RAF summon from all of these zones.
4. GM's assist (ticket)

Although maybe I'm just a noob

A true explorer NEVER says "It's impossible"! He finds out a way!

There has to be a way.. It it possible with Level 55 DKs, so it must be possible with level 1 Worgen to leave the starting zone!
