the /say DISCONNECT RISK: TRUE. part in the macro is useless.

No, it isn't. The macro edits the SendChatMessage function to instead try to turn anything you say into an item link. Therefore, when you type "/say DISCONNECT RISK: TRUE", then client tries to link an item named "[DISCONNECT RISK: TRUE]" in the SAY channel. Because there is no such item as "[DISCONNECT RISK: TRUE]", you get DCed for querying the server for an item that doesn't exist. You could change it to say anything you want really, but it is still necessary for the macro to work.
