Discover Dalaran Island (no wall hacking)

Searched around for Dalaran Island and the only other post I found was the talk of its location in the center of the city, which I wasn't even able to duplicate reaching after many exact looking attempts (and even being able to mount and fly there now).


I'm sure most of you know that there is(was?) a small section labeled "Dalaran Island" underneath certain parts of the city that are fairly hard to get to and require flying up and around through the sewer walls. However, there is also a place with this label high above the city that you can discover, if you just feel like discovering it (since thats about all the other is good for as its dead space you can only fall through momentarily).

If you go to the Violet Hold and hover over tree south of the waters (58,7 and fly straight up far into the sky you will discover Dalaran Island.

It has no map and shows as Crystalsong Forest on /who (dropping just a few feet below will show Dalaran on /who again). Kinda neat I guess.

You're right. I thought I posted that with my updated shots but I guess I forgot. (You can see the timestamps are the same vs my original shots, not trying to steal your find.)


To get to Dalaran City, fly straight up from the north bank steps. It does the same thing with the blank map and /who report.

is it an actual island hidden, or is it just a section o f Dalaran?

This might be an old, undeleted zonename, like Gillijim's isle, or just some Designer-gewdies like 'Jeff SW quadrant' on programmers isle.
