Most kind of those glitches, where you need to dc, etc. etc., is found by luck. Imagine someone, who's on their way from Borean to Dalaran, and in Dragonblight, they're disconnecting. The person thinks 'Amagawd, not again!', and is logging back into the game. But then it's happening again. He's trying to log in a last time, but then he find himself in .. In Kalimdor, at Darkshore! 'Wutafack' is the person thinking, and trying to fly around a little. Flying above Orgrimmar, through Ashenvale, and then he's gettin' an idea!
Hey, let's try to fly into Hyjal.
He's going up, up, up, but is gettin' dismounted, so he's falling down and dieing.
But now his bad connection strikes again, and he's gettin' knocked out! 'Damn' he thinks.
That's probably how it happened.
