Just did this, hope you don't mind me sharing a vid I made whilst I did it.

So it CAN still be done, did it as a lvl 1 gnome warlock.

Just tried this on my gnome, and then on a night elf with pygmy oil. There is definitely something WAY different on the night elf. It gets stuck a lot more. Its as if he still had the NE model, just looked like a gnome. Anyone else having the same problem?

Yup thats why it only works on gnome :P

this has never worked for me.

it seems when i use pygmy oil to make myself a gnome, the system still thinks i'm the size of a night elf ( I cant fit in small holes, etc )

Well, to all of you wondering why you can't get in as a Night Elf, Human, or Draenei, this only works if you are a Dwarf or Gnome.

Pygmy Oil (5) makes you "appear" to be a gnome. It doesn't mean it will change your character model's height. I've tried going thru a hole that my mammoth couldn't go thru with something making me smaller (small feast) and I am sure my head wasn't hitting the top of the hole.

This works as a gnome or dwarf, regardless of appearing size.

You don't need pygmy oil for this. As stated above, you can only get it working if ur gnome, maybe dwarf too (cataclysm pew pew).

This is the easiest way to old IF imo, you can get this working with fears, polymorphs etc and u can just ask some mage / wlock to come with you:
