    ROTWK reference

As you all know, there's a game called Rise of the Witch King, and then there's Wrath of the Lich King

Here's a little something to show the similarities:

First thing, they are both an expansion to a game.

Rise of the Witch King - expansion to The Battle for Middle Earth 2
Wrath of the Lich King - expansion to World of Warcraft

Arthas and the Witch King were once normal men, then they were both corrupted and became evil dudes.

The Witch King recieved a ring from Sauron, and Arthas recieved Frostmourne from Ner'zhul (correct me if I'm wrong)

They both live, and come from the cold north. The Witch King from Angmar and The Lich King from Icecrown (Northrend)

    And now, a few pictures:

    The Witch King's "lair"

    The Lich King's "lair"

If any of this is wrong, then please tell me :>

Sorry buddy but Tolkien's books are older then the Warcraft Lore.

Tolkien had been writing “The Lord of the Rings” for more than 10 years. He wrote the first chapters in 1939 after the success of “The Hobbit”. The trilogy was published first in 1954-1955
Released in 1994, Warcraft: Orcs & Humans, or Warcraft I, was the first game in the Warcraft series and one of the original Real Time Strategy games.
    Seriously, which one is oldest?

    No wait.... seriously?

the Witch king even got portrayed as we see him now earlier then the Lich King did.

But yes of course the look the same, they are both the villains of a computer game/story. Then you gotta look like that, and I'm pretty sure there are some LotR fans over at blizzard, even in the game design quarters.
