1) northrend is not in the game files
2) northrend WILL be in the game files in a very far far far away future
3) northrend = 200 k undeads out there (according to blizzard's lore) so i dont think that the undeads would want to keep any tree out there..not corrupted lol

There are some scenes of Winterspring but most of it is just under Naxxramas. It may have some of the actual Northrend terrain features due to the fact that Blizzard has included future areas outside of instances before, as they don't expect people to go there, but it is still highly unlikely that any of that terrain will ever make it into another expansion.

The only reason they made it snowy in that area is to give the inside a winter world atmosphere (snowing effect), as Sapphiron and Kel'Thuzad are both frost based bosses.

Northered = The place were can find the nerubians and the scourge and some dwarfs in that mystic place can find the Frozen Throne of the Lich King Arthas (after fusion with the original lich king and they become one ) .
Cool place but unvaible for now to WOW if one make it good for us new zone and instance and dugeon and meet Lich King Arthas himself .

you dont really need to play warcraft 3. its in the game manual. and alot of it is in a little book on the table in sentinel hill. haha!
