CoT Exploration

In particular, I will be showing you how to get to the raised circular platform in the middle of CoT, which houses the Elite translucent dragon. No special consumables besides Noggenfogger if you don't have Slow Fall are needed, I was just being goofy with the Furbolg costume.

From the end of the CoT flightpath, looking to the left reveals a tower that we need to get to the top of.


Once at the top of the tower, position yourself at the edge of the pillar while not completely touching the wall you will be jumping onto.


Make a running jump to the corner; if you're not up high enough it might take another small jump to get where you need to be.


You then want to run along the left side of the edge until you get to a safe enough spot.


Continue somewhat along the edge, it doesn't have to be this precise.


Gradually work yourself along the top until you get to the closent point to the inner circle from above. Note: You can tell the difference between textures where im standing in this picture. Almost all of the texture I'm not standing on is considered 'slippery' and you WILL fall to your death. Stick to the rocky texture.


Proc Slow Fall (Levitate, Slow Fall, Noggenfogger) and run towards the middle of the circle. You will take light fall damage if using Noggenfogger, nothing too serious though.

The link you posted isn't as complete or refined as mine. Of course people would eventually find their way to the center of CoT; your link just lack lustering shows how to begin to the roof.
The original post was 4 months old, and didn't show up on the 'similar posts' scan.
