In some tbc movie they say that Illidan didnt die but got hurt so he got saved by some blood elf and someone i dont remember, they saved him beacuse illidan saved them once.

OOOH YEA now i remember in warcraft 3 there were the Naga and blood elf people and Illidan was there ally and Kel' Thuzad was with him to so yea i was like at the end of warcraft 3 what about them the ones who were his allies i mean blizzard couldnt have forgot about them. And so it does make sense they would help him.
P.S. Are the Naga in TBC cuz i didn't see them in WoW. Maybe they'l put them later oh well who knows.

But Illidan was not finished yet. Meeting the weakened Arthas at the glacier's base, the two warriors engaged in single combat. After a few minutes of exchanging blows, however, Arthas overcame Illidan's defenses and cut him down.
Illidan Stormrage fell in the snow, dead, or so it seemed. He was badly wounded, but not killed. After it became clear for Vashj and Kael that they could not destroy the Frozen Throne, they retreated, eventually back to Outland, taking Illidan with them.



And yes there are nagas in TBC? :P serpentshrine cavern is full of nagas and whatnot, the matron of serpentshrine cavern is lady vashj herself :P and there are several naga tribes in certain places like shadowmoon valley (im a lore whore ^^ hai btw, first post :P)
