Get onto the pillars of Undercity

Hello, this is my first guide ever. I have been watching MMOwned for a long time and I have enjoyed all of the explorations people have had to offer, so i thought I would give it a shot. I am very open to constructive critisicm so if you have any thoughts/ideas to make this better please post them, I would like to hear it.

Before i start this, I suggest you use a gnome or a Undead to do it. Any other larger character then an Undead will probably not be able to make it, but feel free to try it.

1. Ok, start out just outside of Undercity, right next to the gates.



2. Next, walk around the little hill near the wall, and be careful not to fall off.



3. When you get to this part, watch yourself. Do not try and jump the red part, it won't work. Instead get on the small wall thing. If you DO fall though, no worries, you can swim along the dirt and get to Step 7.



4. Jump directly where the walls make a right angle and you will get stuck, then jump again and youll make it onto the higher one.



5. Walk across the pillar and continue.



6. Same thing as steps 4 and 5



7. You should be here. If you fell into the water at any time you can just swim to get to this point and you will be fine.



8. This part is by far the hardest, and its still not really too hard. Just keep jumping up and switching which angle you are aiming and eventually you will make it to the top.



9. When you get through the little hole at the top you will probably jump forward, and it will seem as if you are stuck. Do not worry, it is easy to get out of. Just keep jumping and switching angles, it won't take you long to get out.



10. When you jump out you will see something like this.


11. Go to here on the map



12. Run down that hill and follow the arrow



13. Everything will look like this.



14. Go here on the map, and you will see a big ass hole in the ground. Position yourself close to it, then move your camera over the hole and you should see this. Line yourself up with the pillar below.



15. Walk forward, slowly and you should land here.



16. Enjoy! You can keep exploring UC like this, and if anyone has a high enough level Horde Char with slowfall, i am sure you will be able to find some very interesting things.

Nice +rep though been post awhile back but you should try to get to the nerfed UC tunnels you pass one on FP to and from UC

Nice +rep, i just tryed it and the guide worked perfectly. But i didnt see anything else that you could get to in UC...


Edit: i found a secret Bucket of Milk in secret halls in UC. Posting guide soon. But why would they put something where you would have to exploit to?

You did not have to start at the entrance to UC and follow the wall. You could have just swam to this area (its alot easier)



This exploit has been around for a really long time.

Did this on my hunter a while ago. Pretty cool but ultimately useless. I couldn't attack anyone, even with the Survival talent that increases your ranged distance. Eventually, someone saw me and a GM whispered me and told me to leave :S.

I think you can target and attack long ranged if your on the unaccessable middle lvl in UC

I got there once...used the float hack and jumped off the edge of the zeplin just floated through the upper part of UC. Thats a hack though so do that on a trial acc not real one.

Note: You CANT do this if you are a Orc.... you are simply too fat =/
