Sorry but there is no rule saying that it needs to be an area for the new. All it says is that it needs to be unobstructed.
Just cerious, wanna share how you got that message? Send me a PM

So, the rules are:

Post a picture of the above area with you in it (You can block out the name), but you must keep the general area of the area, if there is a certain landmark in it, you must keep the same landmark.

And all I did to get that message was press the disconnect macro right as I was entering an instance.

Theres no reason to get upset. And the rules say, if you read them, that the new picture needs to be unobscured. No mobs in the pic, etc. Only the first pic needs to be a zone.

ProdFTW, I think you're misunderstanding the wording of the OP...Both pics have to follow the rules... not just the first one. It would hardly make sense otherwise.

I wasn't upset... just a bit put off. Dellion beat your challenge... so what if it was WotLK? And then I thought we had moved on, so I solved Dellion's challenge... but then you came back with 'no one beat me yet'...

I guess I was more baffled that you really thought the second pic could be just any pic, even one that is not a location in the game. This is the master of exploration thread...I just figured the rules would be obvious.

Your challenge is a good one... but I think I will bow out of this thread for a while and leave it to others.

Oh, I understand completely how it is an exploration glitch... and agree that glitches like that should be posted in the exploration forums. I was only arguing that it wasn't the original intent of this thread... this was more of a "post your toon in different locations" sort of thing, traditionally.

I even understood Prod's take on the rules...the way it said something about the second picture 'needing to have no mobs and being unobscured', but doesn't mention having your toon in the pic... so I completely see how Prod could understand that to mean the second pic doesn't "have to be a zone"... I just interperated it differently, and IMHO the OP meant for both pics to include a picture of your character.

Glad you guys kept going on with this today... some really sweet locations posted.
