OT : it really looks like elves ruins in feralas to me.

Cute gnome...yeah that's pretty unheard of to me too.

As for Feralas - I just checked it out and didn't find any ruins bar Night Elf ones - the ones we're looking for are definitely of the v2 Vanilla Titan model (v1 are the rough stone looking ones, like the ones that used to be by the gates of Uldum before Cata, and 'Vanilla' since Titan architecture was updated in WotLK around Northrend) - which I've only seen in 1000 Needles and Uldaman so far, so...the search continues once again!

I have a full time office job, and I'm married with children. I'll be lucky if I can get online by Friday!

I'm not kidding man, I still think you'll find it before me haha :P I'm so clueless as to where it is that I'm checking what the WATER looks like in each zone to see if matches the screenshot. And I don't even know if it's in an instance! Such a good (but annoying) challenge.

HAHA is not my girlfriend^^ , first I m a girl, and this cute gnome is Neiluge, a friend and guild mate (he has made account here too) and he explore with me and help sometimes. (you can see him too in my screenshot of molten front in the same thread p48 )

Wow, that's a really tough challenge. I have looked into almost every pool in Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor. The only appearance of those ruins I know are in Uldaman, Loch Modan and Thousand Needles (edit: and Badlands of course). The color of the water looks like Feralas but there aren't the right ruins there. I am really clueless right now. I noticed that blue things in the top left corner of the screenshot. I can't really see what exactly that is. It could be the top of the water, that would mean we are in a really shallow pool, but I don't see the ground of the pool anywhere. I suppose that blue thing is the ground of the pool we can see from that angle. But again, I can't remember any pool with such a blue ground. I have no idea where to search >.<

Like Kaldonir, I spent the majority of last night flying around under the world looking in random ruins with no luck.

No more hints! Let us figure this one out... such a fun challenge. As ST was, I am utterly shocked to learn that this is in Eastern Kingdoms and not near the old Shimmering Flats ruins in Kalimdor. Crazy that two places can look so alike, yet be so different. Love it!

Man, it doesn't matter how you found it, just that you did find it and had fun whilst doing so. When I couldn't find it after loads of searching in-game I looked at a google-style map of WoW and just looked closely in water around EK and eventually it caught my eye - not exactly conventional exploring and it was pure luck that I saw it on the map, but hey - if it gets you the result you need, it's just as valid a method as any other

The fact that I only beat you to it by 15 minutes just shows what a good race this was and competition is (almost) always good for exploring - all I can say is well done for finding it too and I hope you have better luck next time!

As for the new submission, I think it is in an instance (unusual for ST), and I even think I know which one. If it is the one I'm thinking of... I was one of the first people to (publicly) escape it.

It's an absolute gem, has maps for development, MoP Beta, all of Azeroth, Lost Isles, Kezan...the lot. Very useful!

As for my challenge...I won't confirm or not confirm what you guys are saying
