Rapid Weapon Leveling (Mage)

This only applies to level 70 mages as that is when you get Spell Steal.

In Shadow Labs (Heroic or Regular), many of you mages probably already know that you can spell steal the "Form of the Beast" off the mobs that shapeshift around 20% within Grandmaster Vorpil's room (the buff that turns you into a mini magmadar).

However, what you may not know is that during this time you are in that form, you will automatically cast "Frenzy" on yourself which causes your attack speed to be under 1 second. What's cool is that your attacks while in this form will actually level whatever weapon you currently have equipped.

I used this to get both swords and staves up over 300 in one run.

While it certainly isn't the best spolit ever, this can be quite useful when grinding, and you're in one of those "oshi out of mana" pickels.

Albeit rare, it does happen.

I just /sleep at that point. It's super-retarded that Blizz made them 100% invulnerable to spells. I should be able to wand at least.

Spellsurge + fast dagger = quick regen when fighting theses wyrms. These fights allow me to be full mana and ready for the next pull.
