One-Shot Everything In Ashran
Essentially go find a power geode in the Molten Quarry, use a scroll of town portal with instant cast ability, and melt the enemy faction
when in your base. I used a lock in this video but should work with other classes.
Its a lot of fun.

I think I am a better judge of that than some guy whose been here for 9 years with 1 rep, and 22 posts of mostly whining about stuff he is leeching, yeah.

Y'all are forgetting the first rule of the internet; don't feed the trolls. For shame, both of you.
True. I spent a week editing this footage + he caught me at a really bad moment.
Btw I don't think the guy is a troll.
As for the exploit; it is an exploit because it's using mechanics that work in a way that is clearly not intended. The buff was meant to be kept in that location, hence the horrible duration. The fact that the buff follows you to back is a clear oversight on the already oversight-heavy developers. I actually saw a warlock do this earlier today, and I found this thread after. It's definitely an unfair advantage that's significantly more viable for Alliance players on defense. I like this exploit too, because the warlock saved my butt with it. The curious question is this though; was it like this since WoD, or is this a new issue thanks to the conversion to a battleground? Regardless, it's a handy thing for when our side loses, which is almost 100% of the time.
Makes losing a little bit better. Not much better since it's still a loss and a waste of time due to how long the BG is, but the enemies melting make for a fun sight.
That's a world-class explanation, I should hire you to explain my shit. One thing I'd add is that most instant cast abilities don't fit in the window between end of cast time and port, so this is pretty much a timing attack, an unambiguous well-defined class of exploit.
I have turned around a few bg's with this method, it almost always works if the team is actually still fighting competitively - unfortunately a significant percentage of the time when the enemy reaches your base there are several players who are simply committing suicide repeatedly to end the bg.
Re: Faction balance. I'm assuming you are alliance. This might just be a quirk but the last few days have had a pretty strong win rate for alliance. I actually had some difficulty finishing this video because we weren't getting creamed as much.
