I know this is not the right forum,However i figured this is the most viewed forum in the site. (atleast i think). i just wanted to share somthing with all of my friends at MMowned. Well persionaly i have had lots of problems with windows over the past >< i and just hate it, i found this new (FREE) version of Linux called Edubuntu Completely free. Comes stock with everything, a version of photo shop, everything you could possible want in an operating system and the best part is it runs more Efficently than windows. ^^ simple terms its like 9x faster heres a link to the site for downloading. if you need a version for Germany, Europe etc....heres the home page www.edubuntu.org

My apologies for posting in the wrong thread. i just wanted everyone to see this, as it may make some ppl very happy as it did for me, i was considering buying a new copy of windows to replace my damaged one, not anymore

no you can't. linux sucks for use like we're used to. its mainly designed for servers and stuff.

You can run WoW on linux.

Run wow or not, its still an free operating system..just to use for your computer. better than buying a new copy of windows for 200$

Almost every Linux distribution is free. And yes, you can run WoW on Linux, with enough skills with WINE, and maybe Cedega. There are also other programs that are easy to use, but you have to pay.

WINE and Cedega can enable you to run certain programs (aka wow) on a linux computer. However, you really REALLY have to be carefull with linux. Certain Distrobutions are meant to be used as servers, and others are meant for a more personal use setting.
