You can do the same for any quest that requires you to act on a npc/item, it just has a longer "cooldown" for the same mob/item.

When I run across quests like that, I tab out and watch porn for a few minutes in between tries.

Gratz on finding a quest with a small downtime, but this is not an exploit.
