Cross-faction Talking (ADDON)

Despite the "Disallowed" status, the addon is still widely used on some servers.

This addon allows you to talk to the opposite faction as long as they have the addon also, your message will be translated into gibberish and then sent in the "say" or "yell" channels (your choice). The gibberish is special though, and anyone with the addon will understand what you said regardless if they are Horde or Alliance.

Commands are just /bfy (for yelling your message) or /bfs (for saying it normally)

There probably would be, but to do I don't know any ones whos been banned for it.

So i'm gonna assume you've been using this and got your account banned/suspended for a large time period? Because I have an have yet to have that happen, i've even been reported for it too, but i'm sure you know more then me.

This does work, and I used to use it, but its almost impossible to find anyone that has this add-on on the opposite faction. And if you plan to use it with a friend just to talk, why not just call each other? =P There is also a "Sniffer" that another member posted on this site, (Not sure if it is detectable now), that would give you translations of what the opposing side said (Or your side but in a different language). You also had to have 2 people running it to had a conversation. Im pretty sure you can be banned for using either, cause Blizzard sure as hell doesnt want us talking to the other faction =/ I've made posts on the Blizzard forums about talking to the opposing factions, but it'll never happen =P
