Hey guys, I was messing around on the PTR and I found something cool. I had my demon targeted while I opened up my friends list, and when I pressed add friend, it added my demon's name to the list. I don't know if this is old or not, but i'm just trying to contribute!

Works whit huntard to as long as you dont change the name.

Well I had my pet selected when I pressed the add friend button, so it couldn't mean that I added another player on the PTR.

I find the term 'huntard' offensive. Some of us know what we are doing, and yet so many n00bs give us a bad name.

Maybe only I know what I am doing... i dunno.

Dismiss your pet and see if he goes offline.

okay.. when you have someone selected and slick "Add Friend" it simply copies the string from your %t variable (target) and automatically adds that string to your friends list, so you don't have to type it in.

it has nothing to do with the actual client that you have selected, simply the variable that they have stored in the server as their name.

so, in theory, you could select a Worg and click "Add Friend," and it could add a level 70 hunter named Worg to your friends list. you never know until you see that person log on.
