For the fury warriors who reached the threatcap.

Hello everyone, starting off by telling you that I'm sorry if this is the wrong section but hey, here goes:

If you are a fury warrior who has reached the threatcap and just can't dps as much as you're capable to due to being threatcapped, here's a thing you could do.

As we all know, Bloodthirst makes you heal yourself for 30 damage per hit which produces some (not much, but still) extra threat on it's own, so I what you can do is that you can create a macro that'll look something like this:

    #Showtooltip Bloodthirst(Rank 1)
    /use
    /cast Bloodthirst(Rank 1)

What you did here is that you switched the highest rank of Bloodthirst to the lowest rank, it still does the same amount of damage as the last rank, but it heals for less( 10 health iirc), meaning less threat generated for the small heals.

May be common sense to some, but I know there are alot of people who doesn't know this, evethough many fury warriors are not threatcapped before endgame content, less with the now -10% threat generated from the improved zerk stance talent.

I'm sorry if this has been posted before, but I tried searching to no avail.

    Thanks for reading.

Do you think you could provide a source or something to confirm that?
if it's true, nevermind this, since I got nothing to back my "theory" up.

Each ranks damage is the same, it depends on your current AP. You could have gained AP before you go to train the next version so thats a possibility, but by the looks of it the damage calculation doesn't change. wont let me post the link to wowhead, so just search bloodthirst then click abilities.

Rank 1: Instantly attack the target causing [$AP*45/100] damage. In addition, the next 5 successful melee attacks will restore 10 health. This effect lasts 8 seconds. Damage is based on your attack power.

Rank 6: Instantly attack the target causing [$AP*45/100] damage. In addition, the next 5 successful melee attacks will restore 30 health. This effect lasts 8 seconds. Damage is based on your attack power.

The only damage change is based on your attack power. You must have been a bad fury warrior

    Ok, heres the thing. Tested.

1- You cant downrank warrior spells, at least not by using these kind of macros.

2- You can remove the healing buff, but prob doesnt not worth to remove it as the threat from it is so low.

    /cast Bloodthirst
    /cancelaura Bloodthirst

    Thanks.
