Change wild battle pets skins
Hello and first of all excuse my poor english.
If you use Polymorph or Hex on a battle pet, start the duel, and catches it; you will get the pet with that spell. It works in pvp battle pets, icons and names don't change but is fun to watch my compy using emperor crab skills.
I saw this in warcraftpets forums (How to get Permanent Polymorphed / Hexed Battle Pets! - WarcraftPets Forum), i don't want to take credit, i only share it with you for your enjoyment (sharing is caring)
.
Have a nice day.
long time ago i played mage too

Best part is, if you find a flying pet with this, you can have a flying pig.

Other than a Shaman and Mage, are there any other fun transformation effects you can use on critters? I have a wolf that looks like a sheep and a lizard that looks like a raptor, but I'm lacking in polymorph tricks as far as I know.

No, you can't use any toy items to pets.
Works only with class spells like mage or shaman.

Drat. Was hoping there may be a special case out there. Oh well, a sheep, turtle, and compy are plenty fun for me.

How did you make a murloc? That's pretty cool.

I used an outlaw rogue to bribe a murloc at the Howling Fjord because one of them has a polymorph-like ability.

I forgot Rogues could do that. I forgot Rogues even existed while Outlaw is trash. Time to dust off my rogue and have some fun, thanks!
EDIT: Oh man, I remember there being a bunch of NPCs that cast polymorph effects. Time to scout Wowhead and look for more that may be fun.
EDIT 2: How in the world can you make it work? I bribed the murloc that casts the polymorph, found a random pet to battle, and used the ability. The battle pet gets put in combat with me and the pet, even if I'm in stealth. I have it set up so I can press a keybind to interact with the target pet, but the moment I press it, I can't use my murloc's polymorph.

I was compiling a list while at work. Going off some of the ones that Hati could be transformed into. Small note: Haven't had a chance to test any of these.
Cursed Sailor Undead model. Should be able to use a DK with Control Undead.
Discombobulator Ray from Engineering.
Worgen in Duskfall MC/Bribe

Just tried Cursed Sailor, but the curse doesn't alter battle pets. It aggros them, but that's it. Will check with Worgen next.
EDIT: Can't pet battle with a bribed NPC for some reason. It says I'm in combat, yet that's clearly incorrect since I vanished and killed everything around the Worgen I bribed. Not sure how to get around that.

Discombobulator ray also counts as combat, and if you vanish it gets removed unfortunately.
Seems like only true polymorphs work since you or the pet have to stay out of combat to fight
