Little trick is to start spamming interact-with-target before vanishing. Binding it on mousewheel should be even faster to spam.
And it should also be mentioned that the CD of Bribe resets when resetting a raid boss fight. See the latest video of Archvaldor @23:27 to do it on command Wow Leveling Exploit Guide 7.3.5 1-110, 1-60, 60-80, 80-90, 90-100, 100-110, Fast Power Leveling - YouTube (you can simply pull the boss back to the entrance and he will despawn).

The thing about dropping combat is the biggest crutch, because when you're solo, the aggro doesn't INSTANTLY drop, so you have that split second window to hit your interact key. Clearly not the smartest method, but as someone with only one account and no friends online, it's all I had. Thankfully, I got it on the first try so I didn't need to wait for Bribe's awful cooldown.
Bribe resets on skirmish. Que for skirmish, enter after just under 30 seconds, the second combat starts you can quit without debuff. Or you can quit asap if you don't mind getting the debuff (but be warned it gets exponentially larger after repeated desertions).
Alternatively you can que for old LFR instances as shown in metheor's link to my video, aggro a boss and quit.

That's pretty cool.

Just wanted to point out that this is still working as of April 12th. I used the transformation via the Gatrul'lon Curseweaver (used a rogue alt on another account for bribe then battled and caught the pet on my main) and I literally get whispers about it everyday. Has anyone else found other transformations out there not listed in the thread?

Sadly, I haven't found any more fun transformations since my post on the demon engineer. Though nothing new has been found, I did compile a list of all the things from this thread that currently work. Made it for my friends, but there's nothing wrong with dropping it here for like-minded pet enthusiasts.
I hope this wall of text isn't against the rules. I didn't want to use pastebin because that almost feels like advertising, and the credit for all of this definitely doesn't belong to me.

====================================================
III. Notes:
====================================================
Polymorph:
- Sheep come in either white or black, and are pretty big when tamed.
- Black Cat only has one appearance.
- Turtle comes in Brown, Green, and Black skin, and is large when tamed.
- Polar Bear Cub is just like the Baby Blizzard Bear.
- Pig comes in pink or black skin.
- Monkey comes in silver fur, black fur, and baby gorilla.
- Rabbit only comes in white, similar to Snowshoe Hare.
- Porcupine comes in any color a normal porcupine can have, and is slightly larger when tamed.
Hex:
- Frog only seems to do a green frog.
- Compy uses vanilla raptor models, but can proc a red raptor with HUGE blue eyes.
- Spider is a rare drop, so I have yet to test it.
- Cockroach is the same as any cockroach battle pet. Nothing special.
Cursed Sailor:
Must be set to melee attack the target battle pet first before the Curse of the Eye will work.
Will not immediately auto attack the battle pet; quickly set it passive after it transforms the battle pet.
Gatrul'lon Curseweaver:
Can only be bribed by an Alliance Rogue.
Nust be used on a battle pet that attacks you when aggroed, as to prevent resetting.
Valid battle pets: Grove Viper, Emerald Turtle, Spiny Terrapin, Bucktooth Flapper
For solo Rogues, use this macro to aggro without damage;
/cast Cheap Shot
/stopattaack
/cleartarget
Gnomish Poultryizer:
Requires Gnomish Engineering.
Has a rare chance to backfire, making a large black chicken instead.
Also has a chance to backfire and hit you instead of the target.

there must be a way to greatly reduce the damage done by the worgen? And how much hp do the critters have around there?

We can only hope that, with the stat squish in BfA, the damage they deal is reduced enough so that they can't outright kill critters. Otherwise, there doesn't seem to be any way to get ourselves a bipedal murderwolf pet. It seems very unlikely unless some crazy guy figures out a major exploit.

Cause for concern;
Just tried to replicate this on the beta, and it seems to not work. Used a Mage and Shaman, but the battle pet returned to normal when battled. As character copies are not available, we can't check the glitched appearances we already have. Let's HOPE that what we have won't be altered, but let's also not get too attached to these glitch pets. I'll keep us updated when something is definitive, unless someone beats me to the punch.

Beta updated with character copies, so obviously the first thing I did was have fun with my main. After though, I checked the battle pets I had that were transformed. All pets are currently reverted to normal when summoned, but they still keep their changes in the pet journal. This also includes the rare golden rabbits (Mountain Cottontail and Elfin Rabbit, relics from the color changing era), but not the silver Mountain Cottontails which can be found in the wild right now.
First, remember this is BETA. It might not be the definitive answer to our possible pet losses. Nicknames, teams, and so on are not copied, and as a result lightens the worry somewhat. However, it's likely that they may be ruined and fixed. Here's hoping it isn't the permanent fix, and I'll keep my sexy big black chicken out at all times until pre-patch.

I don't think it's a fix.
I copied my characters and some random things are gone:
-a normal unmodified pet macro was gone on my UI ("?" icon)
-I received a beer of the month (Already got it on live)
-Random macros gone
I think it's a bug from the copy.
I think it will fix your pet too if you change server or faction on live.
Don't panic.

Patch finally hit today, and fears have been realized amond the dozens of disconnects; all altered skins got reverted. Even the gold rabbits that were unrelated got returned to normal. They retain their CORRECT appearance in the pet journal, but when summoned, they're the form they had prior to the exploit. It's fixed, Jim.

Aaaaand... It's back.
Blizzard reverted the change in order to fix Uuna; the girl didn't have her final appearance anymore and many players were sad about it. So you can transform any wild battle pet all over again, have fun!
On a side note, the following battle-pets now appear as a default-model cube.
Mr. Wiggles
Softshell Snapling
Darkmoon Turtle
Amethyst Spiderling
Ash Spiderling
Feline Familiar
Garden Frog
Jumping Spider
Crystal Spider
Spider
Forest Spiderling
Mojo
Widow Spiderling
Spirit Crab
Twilight Spider

Doesn't seem to work still. Tried with a Mage and Gnomish Poultryizer today (July 29th). If it did work again, it didn't work for long. Cubes still show up, but not polymorphed pets; they return to their original state when battled. If it does still work, it only works on specific pets.
