Raptor boss exploit in ZG

Just did this and not one person died nor needed a heal except for the main tank. The tank goes after the troll, the rest of the raid party runs up the pyramid, gets on the ledge that is about half way up the stairs (you have to run all the way up and drop to it), from there, have the healers heal the MT, everyone else on DPS to the boss, you WILL not get the evade bug, the raptor will though, the raptor will just kind of stare at you for the whole time. When he is downed, just zerg the raptor and you win . You also dont need to worry about being watched, just DPS away and you will be fine, the MT wont ever be watched for that matter .

Confirmed, +rep for beating me to it lol. It does work...if you need a 2nd explanation let me know, I'll try to help illustrate this, unfortunately my 4 60s got banned and now I'm gliding a lock, so no ZG pic capability.

Nonetheless, yes, this does work, and how...I used this strat with a guild that has almost no epics between the players and we downed him first try ever as a guild. This was an impressive exploit, even better than behind the spikes.

Backup description of how this works...

Warrior runs in and doesn't kill the speaker until everyone is positioned (Bloodlord will not aggro as you run up if the speaker is alive). When everyone is positioned, kill the speaker, the raptor aggroes to the healers while the tank taunts mandokiir. The raptor can't reach the healers/casters/melee since they are on the second tier up on the "Bloodlord's Shrine Tower." Raptor bugs. Bloodlord is on the main tank who is just right of the stairs going up to the tower. Focus fire the raptor with casters mainly, takes a bit longer without rogues or melee, but melee can shoot. Burn Bloodlord down, then everyone jumps and you kill the Raptor.

By far the most effective exploit of the Bloodlord Fight to date. Good share.

Yes this works and it makes Bloodlord very easy to kill. Easiest thing to do is use a hunter on the second tier to bug the Raptor. Make sure the hunter keep shooting the Raptor from the second Tier to keep him agroed and off of the melee below killing Bloodlord.

Also in the picture you dont have to have everyone up to. Your Melee DPS like Rogues and Warriors can jump down and kill Bloodlord as long as you dont pull agro from the Main Tank (who is getting healed by a healer on the second tier) you can DPS him down quick.

Let me stress again Hunters who are bugging the Raptor from the Second Tier keep shooting the Raptor to keep agro on you and teh Raptor will just stand at the bottom looking like an idiot.

It's not an exploit, this is a perfectly legititimate method for killing Bloodlord Modokir and his raptor buddy. If anyone is getting banned it is for doing something else to bug the Bloodlord himself, or maybe even using forbidden programs. Who knows? How would a GM know you did this? It's in an instance, unless you reported yourself, how does a GM know how you downed a boss unless you're using a trackble program that IS bannable.

This exploit doesnt work, we tryed with guild run bout 2 weeks ago and he just runs around then charges you, just takes longer

this is NOT a legit way to kill bloodlord mandokir. if you cant realize that im shocked, as you trivialize the entire encounter.

and yes this makes bloodlord incredibly easy and it works, however u cant dps from that place if he watches you as he will teleport you down otherwise yea saw this done a month ago or so.
